Save clinical note as new template

Dentalore system offers the provider to add unlimited number of clinical notes for his patients using predefined templates or customized templates created by him.

The user has the ability to type (write) a new template and save it to be used in future as any predefined clinical note template.

Note that: User (Provider) must be allowed (given access) of “Allow Add” to the feature of (Add Clinical Note Template) from the Access Rights tab in security module, in order to be able to save a clinical note template from the “Add Clinical Note” popup.

System Admin is the one who could carry out (manage) the process of allowing users or not from using the system’s features upon the needs of each user. 

To Add a clinical note template from “Add Clinical Note” popup, Follow the following:

  • From the “Clinical Notes” tab, Press “Add” button to add new clinical note.
  • Popup “Add Clinical Note” opens.
  • Type (Write) required statements in the “Description” field.
  • Press on the “Save as template” clickable name.
  • New popup “Save Clinical Note as Template” opens to add the template to the clinical note templates, Popup contains the following fields:
    — Category: Is a drop down menu that contains all of the active defined clinical notes category, to select the new added template will belong to which category.
    — Code: Is the code of the new added clinical note template.
    — Name: Is the name of the new added clinical note template.
  • Then Press the “Save” button. The template will be saved in the clinical note templates grid view under the selected category in the Settings. If User press “Cancel“, then the “Template” will not be saved in the clinical note templates settings.

  • After Pressing “Save“, the “Save Clinical Note as Template” popup closes and user backs to the “Add Clinical Note” pop up to continue the steps of adding the clinical note to patient.
