Operatory is the place (Room) where the provider performs procedures in it for patients.
To Configure an Operatory, perform the following steps:
- Press on your name at the upper right side and select “Settings”.
- Expand “Resources” menu and Select “Operatory”.
Operatory Main Page
- “Operatory” main page displays all defined operatories in a grid view and an “Add” button to add a new operatory.
Add a new Operatory
- Press “Add” button.
- New page “Add Operatory” opens.
- ‘Add Operatory’ page contains the following fields:
– Code: Is the unique ID of operatory.
– Name: Is the name of new created operatory.
– Active: Is a check box that’s ticked by default which means that this operatory can be used and will be displayed in the Scheduler module.
– Notes: Is a text field to write notes on the selected operatory.
– “Save” button: When pressed, the new operatory will be saved, listed in the Operatory grid view in main page and User directed to new page ‘Edit Operatory’.
– “Save & Close” button: When pressed, the new operatory will be saved, listed in the Operatory grid view in main page and User directed to Operatory main page.
– “Cancel” button: When pressed, the new operatory will Not be saved and User directed to Operatory main page.
Update an Operatory
- In order to update an operatory’s data, press “View” icon beside the name of required one.
- New page “Edit Operatory” opens.
Delete Operatory
There is only one place that enables the user to delete operatory that’s is the ‘Edit Operatory’ page. So in order to delete operatory;
- Press “View” icon beside the required operatory then the ‘Edit Operatory’ page opens.
- Remove the check mark of (Active) field and save.
- After saving, Press the “Delete” button.
- Popup “Delete Operatory” appears.
- If user press “Delete” button then the selected operatory will be deleted, removed from Operatory grid view and removed from the Scheduler view. If user press “Cancel” button then the selected operatory will not be deleted and still could be used.
