In Dentalore system you have the ability to define expenses items upon your needs and relate each item with it’s own expenses category.
In Order to access the Expenses view, Follow the following:
- Press your name at the top right corner and Select “Settings”.
- Expand Accounting Menu and select “Expenses”.
- Expenses Main page contains 2 sections: Expenses Category section and Expenses items grid view that displays all of the defined expenses in system and an “Add” button to add new ones.
Expenses Items
1) Add Expenses
- Press “Add” button in Expenses Grid View.
- You will be directed to new page “Add Expenses Item“.
- Fields of the “Add Expenses Item” page are as follow:
– Code: Is a unique code (ID) for each expense item. And it’s a mandatory field that user must fill-in to be able to save the expenses item.
– Name: Is the expenses item’s name. And it’s a mandatory field that user must fill-in to be able to save the expenses item.
– Category: Is a drop down menu that contains all of the defined expenses category in order to select which category will the expense item be related to. Default Selection is: First Category in drop down menu.
– Description: Is a field to add extra information about the item. - Control buttons:
– “Save”: Will save the new expenses item and user directed to “Edit Expenses Item” page.
– “Save&Close”: Will save the new expenses item and user directed to “Expenses” main page.
– “Cancel”: Will not save the new expenses item and user directed to “Expenses” main page. - Fill-in required data and save the expense item.
2) View Expense Item
- Press “View” button beside required expense item in grid view.
- You will be directed to “Edit Expenses Item” Page.
Update any of the required fields and save.
3) Delete Expense Item
- Press “View” button; You will be directed to “Edit Expenses Item” page.
- Press “Delete” button.
- Popup “Delete Expenses Item” opens to confirm or cancel the deletion of expense item.
– “Cancel”: Will not delete the expenses item and it’s still displayed in Expenses Grid View.
– “Delete”: Will delete the expenses item and it will be removed from the Expenses Grid View.
