To add a referred out physician for a selected patient; this patient must be created and added to the patient’s list of the clinic.Then as a user i could refer him to a physician outside the clinic.
In order to Configure a Referred Out for a selected patient, follow the following steps:
- Expand “Patients” menu and select “Patient List“.
- From “Patient List“, Select a specific patient and open the “Info” View.
- “Edit Patient” page opens, Check the Referred In/Out Section.
Add Referred Out
- Press the “Add” button.
- New Popup “Add Referral” opens.
- “Add Referral” Popup contains the following fields:
— Referred Out: Is a drop down menu that contains all of the defined active physicians that had been defined from the settings module, to select the referred out physician. For more details about how to add physicians, Check: Configure Physician.
— Referral Date: Is the date when the referral action occurred.
— Referral Reason:Is the Reason why the patient is being referred out for the selected physician.
— Notes: Is a field to write any required notes on the referral.
— Close button: When pressed, the popup closes without saving the new data of referred out.
— Save button: When pressed, the popup closes and a referred out has been saved for this patient. - From the “Add Referral” Popup add a referred out and save.
- The selected physician has been successfully added to the patient
Update Referred Out
- Press on the clickable name of the physician displayed.
- New Popup “Edit Referral Out” opens, so that patient could update any of the required fields.
- Note that: The added Referred out can’t be deleted, User could only update in the added referral data.
Moreover the “Referred Out” has an “History” option that enables user to display all of the referred out actions done for the selected patient.
- Press the clickable link “History”.
- New Popup “Referral Out History” opens.
>> Note that form the “Referral Out History”, the user is able to edit and update all the fields (Referral Date, Referral Reason, and Notes) except the (Physician Name) can’t be edited from here.
