From Dentalore Cloud System user has the ability to define new procedures, update any of the existing procedures, search for a specific procedure and many more actions related to the procedures; all of these actions could be managed from ‘Procedure’ main page in Settings module.
To Access the Procedure page in Settings Module, Follow the following:
- Press your name at the top right side of the screen and Select Settings.


- Expand the “Practice” menu and Select “Procedure”.

- ‘Procedure’ main page includes 3 main sections: (Search Area, Category and Procedures Grid view).
1- Search Area
- Enables user to search for a specific procedure using ADA Code and Procedure Name.
2- Category
- Section enables user to manage the procedures’ categories to select, add new ones or updating the exiting ones.

3- Procedures Grid View
- Section enables user to manage all procedures, add new ones, Update exiting procedures and check the listed procedures in grid view.

– Procedures Grid View contains the following data for each of the displayed procedure:
- Actions Column: 1 Actions available for each rule: “View“.
– ‘View’ icon directs to the ‘Edit Procedure’ page. - ADA Code
– Is the American Dental Association code equivalent for each Dental procedure. If the ADA Code is not defined for a procedure then it’s field will be blank. - Name
– Is the procedure’s name. - Abbreviated Description
– Is the abbreviated description for the procedure.
– User has the ability to search for a specific procedure using it’s abbreviated description from the Auto-complete search box exist in it’s column in the grid view.

— Note that the abbreviated description written for a procedure is the name displayed in the (procedure) field in the (Reservation Card) of patient in the Scheduler module. - Lab Product
– Column displays the name of ‘Lab Product’ linked with each procedure.
– User has the ability to search for a specific procedure using lab Product from the Auto-complete search box exist in it’s column in the grid view. - Treatment Area
– Column displays the treatment area defined for each procedure that could be: (Mouth, Teeth, Surface, Quadrant, sextant, Arch, or Tooth range).
– User has the ability to search for procedures using treatment Area from the Auto-complete search box exist in it’s column in the grid view. - Paint Type
– Column displays the paint type selected for each procedure.
– User has the ability to search for procedures using paint type from the Auto-complete search box exist in it’s column in the grid view. - Active
– Column displays the status of each procedure that could be: (Active or Inactive). Active procedures have a (Right) green mark and Inactive procedures with (False) red mark.
– User has the ability to search for either the Active or Inactive procedures using 2 buttons (Yes and No) exist in ‘Active’ column in the grid view.

- Condition
– Column displays if the procedure is selected to be (Condition) or not. Condition procedures have a (Right) green mark and all other procedures have a (False) red mark.
– User has the ability to search for the Condition procedures using the 2 buttons (Yes and No) exist in ‘Condition’ column in grid view. - Initial
– Column displays if the procedure is selected to be (Initial) or not. Initial procedures have a (Right) green mark and all other procedures have a (False) red mark.
– User has the ability to search for the Initial procedures using the 2 buttons (Yes and No) exist in ‘Initial’ column in grid view.
– Also the procedure’s grid view have an option that enables user to select the number of procedures required to be displayed per page in which user could select: 5, 10, or 15 procedures to be displayed in the grid view.
