Dentalore system allows user to add physicians from the patient’s info page (Add Patient and Edit Patient) in case the patient knows about the clinic from a physician from outside the clinic’s staff.

So, a new physician could be added from the Referred In/Out section when the referred in selection is (Physician).

Add new Physician from patient module

• From the patient’s Info page, scroll down to the “Referred In/Out” section.
• Select the referred In to be “Physician”.
  
• Press the “Add” button appears beside the “Physician” drop down menu.
  
• New popup “Add Physician” opens.
  
• “Add Physician” popup contains the following fields:
  — Code: Is the code of the new created physician, and it’s a mandatory field.
  — Name: Is the name of the new created physician, and it’s a mandatory field.
  — Phone
  — Email
  — “Save” button: Data of the new physician will be saved, Popup closes and physician will be added in the patient’s info and as well will be added in the “Physicians” list.
  — “Close” button: Data of the new physician will not be saved and Popup closes
• Insert the mandatory data (Code and Name) then press “Save” button.
  
• Message displayed to inform user that new physician has been successfully added.
  
  
• >> Note that the new physician added from the patient’s info page, will be added and listed in the “Physician” grid view in settings module.
