(Add Visit) Page

Add Visit (Appointment) in Dentalore system could be done from many different ways, that all directs to the same page “Add Visit” at the end. User is able to add visits for existing and new patients in the clinic, For more information; Check:
— For an existing patient: Create Appointment for Existing Patient.
— For a new patient: Create Appointment for New Patient.

The “Add Visit” page divided in 2 main parts; the “Visit Details” and “Patient Info” that each contains the following fields:

Patient Info Section

  • Displays the patient’s data which are: Patient’s Photo, ID, SSN, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Mobile, and Birth date.
  • The user has the ability to edit all of the patient’s info except the photo, and this edit will reflect back in the Information in “Edit Patient ” page.

Visit Details Section
Contains the following fields to set the appointment:

  • Operatory: Which is a drop down menu contains all of the active rooms in the selected branch from navigation bar. Enables user to select the room where the patient’s visit will held.
  • Provider: Is a drop down menu that contains all of the active providers assigned to the selected branch from navigation bar. Enables user to select the doctor who will perform the procedures for patient.
  • Start time: Is a date and time box to select when the visit will be set for the patient.
  • Length: Is a numeric box to set how long it’s expected the visit will take.
    Note that: The default value displayed in the length field, is the value configured by user from Scheduler Settings form Settings module.

  • Status: Is a drop down menu contains all of the defined visit’s status, that could be: (Unconfirmed, Confirmed, Delayed, Checked In, In Progress, Completed, Checked Out, Missed).
    Note that: The default status displayed, is the status configured by user from Scheduler Settings form Settings module.

  • Urgent: Is a check box, that if checked that means the visit is urgent and an urgent icon will be displayed on the visit card.
  • ASAP: Is a check box, that if checked that means the visit will be listed in the as soon as possible (ASAP) list.
  • Reason for visit: Is a selection box to select the procedure that the patient will make through the visit. User could select from initial procedures or procedures in the treatment plan of the patient.
    — Initial Procedures displays list of  procedures that are checked to be “Initial” while creating the procedure from settings module. For more information, Check: Configure Procedure.
    — Treatment Plan Procedures
    displays list of  procedures of the status (Planned and In Progress) set for the patient to be performed for him/her.
  • Notes: Field to write any notes on the visit.
