Configure Template for Automatic messaging

Messaging Templates is the place where user could define new templates to be used while sending manual and automatic messages as well finding the predefined templates by DentaLore System.

1) Add Template for automatic messages

  • Press your name at the top right corner and Select Settings, new window will open.
  • Expand Messaging Menu and select “Templates”.
  • Press “Add” button in the Templates grid view.
  • New page “Add Template” opens, that contains the following:
    — Code: Is code of the new created template.
    — Name: Is the name of the new created template.
    — Active: Is a check box that’s ticked by default, that means the template is active, listed in the “Templates” drop down menu and could be used in the “Automatic message” page.
    — Description: Is the place to write the description for the template.
    — SMS Section: Is a section that contains all dynamic entities available in Dentalore system to be used for automatic messages, and a text box to type the required message (SMS) that will be sent.
    — Email Section: Is a section that contains all dynamic entities available in Dentalore system to be used for automatic messages, and a rich text box to type the required message (Email) that will be sent.
    >> Note that you have the ability to select SMS only, Email only or select both of them.
  • Press on the SMS (+) icon to open the SMS Section and the same for Email Section.
  • Select the required dynamic entity that will be added to the message’s body

  • Save new template after typing your message and selecting the required dynamic entities.

    Template successfully added and listed in the templates drop down menu.

2) Edit Template

  • Press the “View” icon beside the required template.
  • You will be directed to the ‘Edit Template‘ page.
  • Update the required fields and save

3) Delete Template 
User has 2 ways to delete a selected template:
1- “Delete” icon in the ‘Templates’ Main Page

  • Press “Delete” icon beside required template.

  • Popup “Delete Template” opens in order to confirm or cancel the deletion of selected template.

2- “Delete” button in the ‘Edit Template’ page

  • Press “View” icon beside required template.
  • Press “Delete” button in ‘Edit Template’ page.
  • Popup “Delete Template” opens in order to confirm or cancel the deletion of selected template.

    >> Note that in order to successfully delete a selected template then this template must be “Inactive”. Otherwise you can’t delete templates.
