Configure Member Type

Dentalore system give the user to ability to configure member types, those member types are the relation to the subscriber that enables user to relate a house head with his his family to apply insurance on them.

To configure member type, follow the following:

  • Press on your name at the upper right side and select “Settings”

  • Expand “Insurance” menu and select “Member Type

Member Type Main Page

Member Type main page includes a grid view that lists all of the defined member types showing which is active and which is not active (Not active means that this member type Can’t be used). By default the “Member Type” main page contains 4 predefined relations which are: Child, Parent, Self, and Spouse.

>> Note that “Self” member type is the only one that can’t be deleted.

Add New Member Type

  • Press “Add” button.
  • New Page “Add Member Type” opens that includes the following fields:

    — Code: Is a mandatory field to insert a code for the new member type.
    — Name: Is a mandatory field to insert the name of the new member type.
    — Active: Is a Check box, that’s checked by default; which means this member type could be used and selected in dentalore system.
    — Description: Is a field to write required description on the new member type.

    — “Save” button: Will save the new member type and user directed to “Edit Member Type” page.
    — “Save & Close” button: Will save the new member type and user directed to “Member Type” main page.
    — “Cancel” button: Will not save the new member type and user directed to “Member Type” main page.
  • Press “Save & Close” button and check the “Member Type” grid view.

    >> Member Type successfully added and listed in the grid view. 

Update an Existing Member Type

  • Press on the “Edit” icon beside the required member type.
  • New Page “Edit Member Type” page opens to update the required data.

Delete Member Type

The user has 2 ways to delete a member type:

1- Directly from “Delete” icon in the “Member Type” grid view.

  • Press the “Delete” icon, for the required record.
  • Popup “Delete Member Type” opens, that if the user press “Delete”, then the member type will be deleted and removed from the grid view. If user Press “Cancel”, then member type will not be deleted and still listed in the grid view.
  • Note that: You can’t delete an active member type. If user press “Delete”, then the following validation message displayed.

2- From the “Delete” button in the “Edit Member Type” page.

  • Press the “Edit” icon of required member type.
  • Edit Member Type” page opens, the selected member type must be inactive to be able to delete it. So, if the the “Active” check box is ticked, remove the tick mark and save.
  • Press “Delete” button.
  • Popup “Delete Member Type” opens, that if the user press “Delete”, then the member type will be deleted and removed from the grid view. If user Press “Cancel”, then member type will not be deleted and still listed in the grid view.
